Overview

Guantánamo Bay took everything from Mohamedou. Except one thing.

For fourteen years, Mohamedou Ould Slahi was held at Guantánamo Bay without ever being charged with a crime. He was interrogated, isolated and cut off from everyone he loved. Yet he came out without bitterness, holding on to the one thing his captors could never take from him: his faith.

7:60 is an intimate portrait of a man who turned injustice into patience, and patience into forgiveness. It is a film about sabr, about what it means to endure, and about the freedom we carry within us, even behind bars.
